Camping Bad Ragaz AG
Seestrasse 41
7310 Bad Ragaz
As long as pitches/accommodation are still available on our website, we still have spaces free. Please note that reservations for the same day are no longer possible. In this case, you are considered a spontaneous traveller without a reservation and there is no guarantee of a space.
During the booking process, you may specify a preferred pitch in the comments section. We always do our best to fulfil this request, but we can never guarantee a specific pitch 100% due to occupancy, previous bookings, extensions, unforeseen natural events, etc.
As soon as a category can no longer be booked, it is fully booked/no longer available. If you do not meet the minimum stay requirements in your enquiry, the system will tell you that a higher number of nights is required for a booking.
We require a minimum stay for every category when making a reservation. This is visible in the booking system. For accommodation, these minimum stay periods also apply to spontaneous visitors without a reservation. Spontaneous visitors with a camper van/tent/caravan are also welcome without a reservation for fewer days than the specified minimum stay. Please note that in this case, there is no guarantee of a pitch.
Your credit card will automatically be charged 25% of the total amount at the time of booking. Please pay the remaining balance on site at check-in by credit card or in cash.
Absolutely! If you are staying in an alpine hut, public transport is an ideal way to get here. Bad Ragaz station can be easily reached by train. Timetables can be found at sbb.ch. Booking train tickets early lets you benefit from attractive saver fares. You can also have your travel luggage transported within Switzerland by public transport. On the train journey to Bad Ragaz, you can already enjoy wonderful views. From Bad Ragaz station, it’s a 15-minute walk to the campsite.
To connect your camper to electricity, you will need a three-pin CEE plug. The alpine huts have household sockets of type C or type J.
All types of pets are welcome on the pitches. Pets must always be kept on a lead. Unfortunately, overnight stays with pets in the accommodation are not possible.
There is a public barbecue area in the centre of the rental accommodation. You are also allowed to barbecue with your own gas or electric grill on your pitch. The grill must not damage the ground and you should be considerate of your neighbours. We do not allow open fires such as fire bowls or similar.
The Park Restaurant (www.park-restaurant.ch), right next to the campsite, is open from Wednesday to Sunday. The village with more restaurants is also not far away.
Classic pitches are suitable for campers and vans under 6 metres long, Comfort pitches are suitable for those under 8 metres.
The services included are the same for both pitch categories.
As long as there is space, you can pitch an extra tent on your pitch. In any case, this extra tent must also be paid for. Once there is no more space, the extra tent will automatically be placed on the tent meadow.
Yes, we provide a free, public network which covers the entire campsite.
The showers are included in the price.
Yes. The washing machine and dryer bookings, as well as payment, are all managed via the WeWash app. You can download the WeWash app or register at www.we-wash.com.
Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to charge electric cars at the campsite. You can find the nearest e-charging stations here.
Our campsite offers a mixture of natural and gravel ground. Some pitches have natural ground with soil and grass – pleasantly soft and ideal for camping with a tent. Other areas are covered with solid gravel, which ensures dry, clean pitches but can make it a little more difficult to hammer in tent pegs. We therefore recommend sturdy pegs (e.g. screw pegs). If you have any questions or minor problems, we will be happy to help you on site!
Yes, each of our Tiny Cabins has a Nespresso machine for your use. A small starter set of capsules is included: for the perfect morning coffee in the middle of nature.
Only one vehicle is permitted per pitch – this can be a camper van, van, caravan or motorhome.
Yes, one awning per pitch is permitted.
One tent per pitch is permitted.
If there is already a tent on the pitch and you would like to add another one:
a) If the second tent is larger than 9m², an additional pitch must be booked.
b) If the second tent is smaller than 9m², a separate tent pitch must be booked. Please contact the reception team in advance so that they can check your request.
Yes, this is possible if the tent is smaller than 9 m². We charge an additional CHF 9 per night for this. Please contact the reception team in advance so that they can check your request.
To ensure that all guests have sufficient space and comfort and that safety is guaranteed on the campsite.
